Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SVG Forge features, pricing, and technical details.
General Questions
Will this break my theme or plugins?
No — SVG Forge is built to be fully compatible with any WordPress theme and plugin. It follows WordPress best practices and never modifies core files. It uses filters and hooks to safely inline SVGs.
Is SVG safe to use in WordPress?
Yes — when properly sanitized. SVG Forge automatically sanitizes all uploads, removing scripts, malicious attributes, and XSS risks.
Does SVG Forge work with page builders?
Free version works with Gutenberg and standard themes.
Pro version: Includes full Elementor & Elementor Pro integration with a dedicated widget, live preview, and advanced inline control.
Pro version: Includes full Elementor & Elementor Pro integration with a dedicated widget, live preview, and advanced inline control.
How does the inline SVG feature work?
Instead of loading SVGs as <img> tags, SVG Forge converts them into <svg> tags automatically on the frontend, allowing CSS styling, animations, and interactivity.
Can I disable auto inline for some SVGs?
Yes — advanced inline settings in Pro allow you to exclude pages, templates, or specific SVGs from automatic inline rendering.
Licensing & Billing
Can I use Pro version on client websites?
Yes — licenses are tiered: single-site, 5-site, or unlimited site options. You can deploy Pro features on client projects according to your license.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes — there’s no lock-in. Free features remain fully functional even after cancellation. PRO features stop receiving updates and premium support after expiration.
What happens if I don’t renew my Pro license?
The plugin continues to work, but you lose access to updates, premium icon libraries, and priority support.
How do I upgrade from Free to Pro?
From your WordPress dashboard, go to SVG Forge → Upgrade to Pro, choose a license, and complete the purchase. Pro features unlock immediately after license activation.
