Getting Started

Installation

Download the Plugin

Get the Free version from the WordPress repository or download the Pro version from your account dashboard.

Upload & Activate

Go to your WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Select the zip file and click Install Now.

Configure

Navigate to Settings → SVG Forge to configure your preferences.

Pro Tip: For Pro users, ensure you activate your license key in the settings to receive automatic updates.

General Settings

Enable SVG Upload Allows SVG files to be uploaded to the media library. Sanitization is automatically applied.
Auto Inline Mode Automatically converts <img> tags pointing to SVGs into inline <svg> code for styling.
Default CSS Class Applies a global class (e.g., .devmubs-svg) to all inlined SVGs for easy styling.

Elementor Integration

SVG Forge Pro integrates seamlessly with Elementor, offering a dedicated widget for advanced SVG manipulation.

How to use:

Open any page in the Elementor editor.
Search for the SVG Forge widget in the elements panel.
Drag and drop the widget onto your page.
Choose an icon from the library or upload your own SVG.
Use the Style tab to adjust size, color, stroke, and add hover animations.

Extinguish hooks and filters to extend SVG Forge functionality.

Filter: exclude_from_inline

Prevent specific SVGs or pages from being processed by the auto-inliner.

Filter: trusted_sources

Add custom domains to the allowed list for external SVG fetching.
